Job summary

THD Design Group Inc is looking for an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field operations for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys across the southern United States. This travel-intensive role requires strong leadership skills, proficiency with modern survey equipment, and the ability to effectively manage multiple state surveys.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience, ensuring projects are completed safely and accurately, while effectively communicating with project stakeholders. A valid driver's license is necessary, and candidates should be prepared for frequent travel (up to 100%).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Strong experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Proficiency with modern survey equipment and software.
• Ability to read and interpret survey plans and legal documents.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 75–100%).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Plan, organize, and execute field survey operations.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of field data collection.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients.
