Dental Associates of Alsip is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support exam procedures, take X-rays, assist during complex treatments, and ensure accurate patient records. The role offers both full-time and part-time options and a comprehensive benefits package; experience and OSHA/x-ray proficiency are valued.

Formación

• Previous dental assistant experience or the completion of an accredited dental assistant program is preferred.
• Knowledge of state dental practices requirements, including x-ray proficiency and OSHA training strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist provider throughout the exam, including complex treatment and operatory-related care.
• Explain treatment procedures; seek clarification and understanding from patients.
• Review and assist patient in updating medical history.
• Assist provider with patient education.
• Take patient blood pressure, X-rays and radiographs.
• Monitor oxygen levels when nitrous or IV is administered.
• Make impressions and fabricate crowns as instructed.
• Prepare and record clinical notes, charting and patient record.
• Prepare operatory for the patient exam; sterilize instruments and disinfect operatory.
• Provide coverage for other team members to account for absences of high-volume periods.

Job Requirements
