Job summary

Mayo Clinic seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to investigate ALS mechanisms using iPSC‑derived motor neuron models from patients with genetic forms of the disease. You will design and execute experiments combining stem‑cell culture, CRISPR perturbations, imaging, electrophysiology, and omics analyses to uncover molecular pathways and potential targets.

Qualifications

• Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in neuroscience, cell biology, bioengineering, genetics, or related field.
• Hands‑on expertise with human iPSC culture/differentiation strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in one or more of CRISPR editing, electrophysiology, quantitative imaging, or -omics; and a strong publication record.
• The ability to work as a team player within and outside of the program.
