MedStar Health is seeking an ALS Paramedic to medically support transport patients in Clinton, Maryland. You will work closely with EMTs and Critical Care nurses, providing high-level care and ensuring accurate documentation during inter-hospital transfers.

Qualifications

• NRP required; paramedic certification in DC within 30 days.
• MD paramedic license within 30 days.
• CPR with BLS/NRP through AHA or Red Cross within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care during inter-facility transports and documents care accurately.
• Delivers paramedic care in ambulances for adults and pediatrics.
• Collaborates with online medical control physicians to manage complex transport cases.
• Participates in orientation and safety initiatives and in quality/service improvement teams.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
