Job summary

Ascent Medical Transport, LLC in Boise is seeking a Paramedic – Ground Transport (ALS) to deliver advanced life support during interfacility and specialty transports. Full-time or part-time roles with flexible hours and signing bonuses may be available.

You will work with a clinician-led team, receive structured training, and contribute to patient safety, documentation, and quality initiatives while advancing within a high-performance EMS program.

Qualifications

• Idaho Paramedic License or Compact state; NREMT-P encouraged.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; PHTLS or ITLS preferred.
• Brand new or experienced; training provided.
• Clean driving record; willingness to work nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ALS care to patients of all acuity levels during interfacility and specialty transports.
• Apply clinical judgment and independent decision-making with your crew and facility teams.
• Maintain safety, professionalism, and documentation excellence.
• Engage in training, case reviews, and quality initiatives to push EMS forward.

Location: Boise, Idaho

Schedule: Full-time (36-48 hours available) or Part-time/PRN (minimum 24 hours per month)

What You'll Do

• Deliver advanced life support (ALS) care to patients of ALL acuity levels during interfacility and specialty transports.
• Apply strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making while collaborating closely with your crew and facility teams.
• Uphold Ascent's uncompromising standards of safety, professionalism, and documentation excellence.
• Engage actively in training, case reviews, and quality initiatives designed to push the limits of what ground EMS can achieve.

What We're Looking For

• Idaho Paramedic License or Compact/Replica state compliant; NREMT-P strongly encouraged
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required); PHTLS or ITLS preferred
• Brand new Paramedic or Experienced?
  • Doesn't matter, we will train the inexperienced and grow the experienced.
• Exceptional clinical skills, clear communication, and sound judgment under pressure.
• Clean driving record and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights/weekends/holidays
• You must have respect for the importance of interfacility transport within the EMS continuum
• Most of all, you must have a positive attitude, team mentality, and a drive to constantly improve.
