Job summary

MedStar Health in Clinton, MD is seeking a qualified ALS Paramedic to support ground transport, providing advanced patient care from admission to transfer. You will work closely with EMTs and Critical Care nurses to deliver sedation, analgesia, and stabilization as needed.

The position requires NREMT-Paramedic, MD/DC licenses within 30 days, and at least one year of experience. A comprehensive benefits package, PTO, tuition assistance, and sign-on bonus are available to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Must have NREMT Paramedic and state licenses within required timeframes.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during transport and maintain documentation.
• Administer pharmacologic agents and IV fluids as needed.
• Collaborate with on-line medical control and participate in safety programs.
• Contribute to department goals and follow policies and procedures.
