RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a PD ALS Educator to support and coordinate American Heart Association classes across multiple RWJBH sites in New Jersey. The role emphasizes equipment maintenance, daily reporting, and adherence to curriculum standards.

The Educator will operate under the Training Center and report to the Administrative Manager, delivering instruction with professionalism while ensuring patient safety and high-quality education programs.

Responsibilities

• Support, coordinate and conduct American Heart Association classes offered by RWJBarnabas Health.
• Instruct at multiple RWJBH Campuses and/or offsite locations as needed.
• Maintain training equipment and complete daily reports and department checklists.
• Report to the Administrative Manager and model professional behavior.
• Engage staff with professionalism, courtesy and respect to support education programs.

Education

High School Graduate or GED

1-year clinical experience

Advanced Level Certification (Paramedic, Nurse)

American Heart Association BLS Instructor, or valid BLS Provider certification with successful completion of the BLS Instructor program within 90 days of hire

American Heart Association ACLS Instructor, or valid ACLS Provider certification with successful completion of the ACLS Instructor program within 90 days of hire

American Heart Association PALS Instructor, or valid PALS Provider certification with successful completion of the PALS Instructor program within 90 days of hire
