Susquehanna is seeking a Quantitative Systematic Trader in New York to translate research into automated trading strategies and monitor live performance. You will model market behavior, monetize alpha, and oversee deployment with real-time adjustments.

PhDs or postdocs in quantitative fields, strong Python skills, and a willingness to collaborate with researchers and technologists are essential. This role offers opportunities in our New York and Philadelphia offices with visa sponsorship.

Formación

• PhDs graduating by Summer 2026 or postdocs in quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
• Analytical problem-solvers with excellent logical reasoning and a passion for turning data into decisions.
• Clear communicators in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
• Programmers comfortable processing and analyzing large data sets in Python; experience with C++ (or another low-level language) is a plus.
• Strategic thinkers with demonstrated interests in strategic games and/or competitive activities.

Responsabilidades

• Modelling market behavior using probability theory, statistics, and machine learning techniques.
• Alpha monetization: blending signals with trading intuition and live market insights.
• Risk management: oversee deployment and real-time operation of strategies and tune parameters.
• Education: participate in a comprehensive education program and mentorship.
• Collaboration: work with researchers and technologists to build parts of the execution engine.
