Job summary

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is seeking a skilled helicopter pilot (EC130) to conduct air tours and charters across Hawaii. The role emphasizes safety, conservative decision-making, and a transparent management-supportive environment.

Candidates must hold a Commercial-instrument Helicopter Rating, 2,500 PIC hours, 1,000 turbine hours, and a valid Commercial Pilot License. The position requires travel and compliance with FAA/Company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2,500 hours Pilot-in-Command hours documented and verifiable.
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Pilot in Command Hours preferred.
• Have a Commercial-instrument Helicopter Rating.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and easily with outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that required items and equipment are on board the aircraft.
• Check maintenance logs and ensure airworthiness and required inspections are current.
• Confirm aircraft is within weight and CG limits for takeoff/landing.
• Review current weather, NOTAMS, PIREPS, and other flight information.
• Brief passengers on boarding, in-flight, deplaning, and emergency procedures.
• File Company or FAA flight plans for all flights, including test/ferry/training flights.
