Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a professional to support the Asset Liability Management (ALM) team in balance sheet forecasting and interest rate risk measurement, ensuring alignment with risk programs and regulatory guidelines.

The role involves advising on strategic risk changes, coordinating with RCA teams, and driving remediation of identified weaknesses. Onsite collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Applicable professional certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support ALM with balance sheet forecasting and interest rate risk forecasting.
• Monitor risk programs and design effective control structures for changes.
• Advise on strategic initiatives to assess future risk profile changes.
• Support business through internal reviews, audits and exams.
• Scope and remediate weaknesses related to risk policies and requirements.
• Collaborate with Lines of Business and RCA to implement risk framework.
• Identify gaps and inform solutions to minimize losses.
• Escalate risks and act as liaison between Line of Business and Lines of Defense.
