NFI is seeking an Allocator to coordinate the distribution floor, directing truck drivers to docks, and matching loads to the proper trucks while communicating with the shift teams and customer service. You will help ensure efficient flow of goods and accurate load assignment across the facility.
This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office, and familiarity with warehouse systems (WMS) and SAP.
The Allocator reports to the Inventory Supervisor with a dotted line to the shift supervisor. The Allocator is responsible for allocating work to the crew, directing truck drivers to docks and various locations on the facility premises. Allocated matches loads to the proper trucks, communicates with the shift departing and the shift arriving. The Allocator must be able to communicate effectively with customer service and all internal and external customers.
