Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is offering a travel position for an Allied / Tech - Pharmacist in Ogden, Utah. This role will involve working in a busy pharmacy environment, managing technicians and providing pharmacy services across various units, including NICU and ICU.

Qualifications

Unit Details: Pharmacy staffed 24 hours; five staff pharmacists throughout the day (AM 3; PM 1; Night 1). Documentation system: Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis; VigiLanz. Floating policy: N/A. Patient Experience requirements: N/A. Certifications: BLS/ALS preferred but not required.

Hiring Profile: Requested skill set includes technician management (will be working alone with a tech for 5.5 hrs out of a 10‑hr shift); Pyxis and CIISafe experience; advanced VigiLanz skills. Dress Code: required uniform—business casual or use hospital-provided scrubs.

Pharmacy services: NICU, ICU, OR, three EDs, inpatient rehab, inpatient acute detox, behavioral health, level II trauma center. Clinical activities include consult services (warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, insulin), drug information, and intervention management via VigiLanz software. Pharmacy team average tenure about 7 years, with three having more than 10 years. Excellent group of technicians with some having 10+ years experience.

7 ON 7 OFF schedule. Guaranteed hours: 36. Contract weeks: 91.
