Job summary

Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians seeks a Shot Room Nurse (CMA/LPN/RN) to join our allergy care team. This role involves preparing and administering allergy shots, monitoring for reactions, and educating patients while maintaining safety in the shot room.

You will work with a collaborative healthcare team, applying strong assessment, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A current RN/LPN/CMA license or certification is required, with Basic Life Support certification essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed/certified to practice nursing (RN/LPN/CMA) in good standing.
• Strong assessment and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with other members of the health care team.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Advanced knowledge in allergy treatment and management (desensitization therapy).
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Preferred Asthma Educator Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer allergy shots.
• Monitor patients for reactions during and after injections.
• Provide patient education on allergy care and immunotherapy.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Shot Room Nurse (CMA/LPN/RN) to join our team.

As a Shot Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering allergy immunotherapy to patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering allergy shots, monitoring patients for reactions, providing patient education and maintaining safety protocols within the shot room.

Work Hours: Dublin : Mondays- 8:30 -4:30, Tuesdays- 8:30-11:30 Wednesdays- 8:30-4:30

Delaware :Thursdays- 8:30-4:30, Fridays- 8:30 -4:30

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) /LPN/CMA candidates are required to have a current and active professional license/certification
• Strong assessment and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with other members of the health care team
• Excellent organizational skills
• Advance knowledge in allergy treatment and management, such as allergy desensitization therapy
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Preferred certification in Asthma Education by the National Asthma Educator Certification Board.
