Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Full-Time Allergy RN to join a physician-led, patient-centered care team in Glen Ellyn, IL with travel to Lombard and Naperville as needed. The role includes vital signs, triage, immunizations, and direct patient support, reinforcing high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides high quality support to physicians in meeting the medical needs of the patient.
• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, ensures chart/lab results are available and complete.
• Performs telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls; may arrange appointments or hospital tests.
• Administers immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; records in chart.
• Assists physician with procedures as necessary.
• Cleans and stocks exam rooms; sterilizes equipment; restocks medication cabinet.
• Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, notes; Responds to patient questions as liaison between physician and patient.
• Reports test results to patient as directed by physician; observes OSHA controls; assists in narcotic count.
• Performs other duties as assigned; works as part of health care team focusing on patient care and service excellence.

Assist in performing narcotic count.* Performs other projects and duties as related to department objectives.* Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.* Utilizes current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect and cooperation.
