Charleston ENT & Allergy is hiring an Allergy Medical Assistant (Gap Year) to join a growing team. This full-time role offers hands-on clinical exposure for pre-med students, including support with allergy testing, immunotherapy, and lab tasks.

You will work closely with physicians and staff, gain experience across front- and back-office duties, and help ensure high-quality patient care throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Pre-med gap year student seeking clinical exposure in a busy medical practice.
• Willingness to perform direct patient care and assist with allergy testing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work up clinic patients for Allergists and obtain histories.
• Assist with skin, PCN, patch testing, and lung function testing.
• Administer allergy injections and prepare immunotherapy materials.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab duties.
• Coordinate testing, scheduling, and pre-certifications.
