Family Allergy & Asthma in Elizabethtown, KY is hiring an Injection Room Nurse (LPN/RN). The role provides direct nursing care in the injection room, administers allergy injections, maintains logs, handles co-pays, and supports HIPAA compliance while working under the direction of program directors.

Requirements include valid LPN or RN license, CPR, driver’s license, 1–2 years nursing experience, and ability to communicate clearly in English.

Formación

• Fluent English required to communicate with patients and staff.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, handbooks, policies and patient care plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels of staff and patients.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the injection room area each morning.
• Administer allergy injections.
• Stock area and order supplies per clinical procedure.
• Complete daily charges log and end-of-day totals.
• Collect co-pays and issue patient receipts.
• Re-order vials as needed and organize refrigerated items.
• Log daily refrigerator temperatures and monitor expiry.
• Explain room policies and obtain signed consent forms.
• Educate patients on first injection policy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow procedures.
• Remain on site 30 minutes after injections as required.
