Job summary

Essentia Health in Brainerd offers an LPN/CMA role within the Allergy Team. You will provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings, support physicians, administer medications, and help coordinate individualized care plans.

The position involves 48 hours per pay period with potential flex to 64 hours, day shifts, and no weekends. The role requires current MA certification or LPN licensure in Minnesota, BCLS certification, and strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Support Allergy Team with patient-focused care in ambulatory settings.
• Meet MN licensure/certification requirements within stated timelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency in vital signs, documentation, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine assessments and monitor patient health.
• Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Coordinate care plans and arrange follow-ups and referrals.
• Handle patient intake, histories, and exam preparation.
