Job summary

PM Hotel Group is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician for Home2 Silver Spring in Silver Spring, MD. The role covers repair and upkeep of hotel systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building maintenance, with emphasis on minimizing downtime and proactive problem solving.

A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related trade experience are required. The job is on-site with flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends, and offers competitive pay plus

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year trade-related and/or training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment with minimum downtime.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure safe storage and reporting of chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Secure the building by monitoring and maintaining doors, locks, and security systems.
