Job summary

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) in Katy, TX, part of Koch Engineered Solutions, has an opening for a Crane Operator on a Mont Belvieu jobsite. You will operate a crane, plan lifts, and ensure safe hoisting in a fast-paced oil and gas environment.

Requires a valid all-terrain crane license, OSHA crane qualification, and two years of crane operation. Willingness to travel and work long shifts is expected. NCCCO and crawler crane certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Crane Operator license for an all-terrain crane.
• Valid Crane Operator physical.
• Valid driver's license.
• Two years of crane operation experience.
• OSHA equipment operating courses completed.
• Familiar with standard hand signals.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crane to lift, move, and position loads and perform final inspections.
• Plan lifts using capacity charts and pre-lift sheets.
• Observe load hookup and ensure load safety.
• Manipulate crane controls to regulate movement.
• Perform daily crane inspections and maintenance.
• Identify hazards and determine needed adjustments or repairs.
