Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced intelligence analyst to support data fusion, threat research, and incident response for Critical Infrastructure security. You will coordinate with the Intelligence Community, develop all-hazards analysis, and produce written and visual intelligence products for senior leadership.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, strong communication, and the ability to work onsite in the main office, with occasional after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Homeland Security or Business preferred.
  • Associate's Degree plus two additional years of experience acceptable.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and DHS Fitness.

Responsibilities

  • Support data fusion from various inputs to identify Critical Infrastructure trends.
  • Provide research and analytic support on infrastructure threats across sectors.
  • Coordinate with IC and partners to consolidate information.
  • Facilitate and track classified RFIs and actions.
  • Develop all-hazards consequence analysis products (written, graphic, visual).
  • Write intelligence estimates and notes for senior leadership.
  • Review and edit written and graphic products for quality and consistency.
  • Manage information requirements and manage production cycle tracking.

Job description

  • Support data fusion from intrusion-network status, open-source, law-enforcement, and intelligence inputs to identify Critical Infrastructure trends
  • Provide research, analytic, and operational support regarding infrastructure threats across Critical Infrastructure sectors and sub-sectors
  • Coordinate with the Intelligence Community and component partners to consolidate information
  • Facilitate and track classified Requests for Information and Requests for Action
  • Research and analyze all-source threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to Critical Infrastructure
  • Develop all-hazards consequence analysis products, including written, graphic, and visual products
  • Develop and deliver pre-planned intelligence products, analytic requirements, ad-hoc tasks, and incident-response products
  • Write intelligence estimates, Intelligence Notes, IRQs, and quick-turn responses for senior leadership
  • Technically review and edit written and graphics-based products
  • Support development, administration, and management of Priority Intelligence/Information Requirements
  • Ensure intelligence products meet style, standards, and analytic tradecraft guidelines
  • Track products and requirements through the production cycle
  • Develop or refine intelligence templates, SOPs, guides, standards, policy directives, and instructions
  • Coordinate RFIs internally and externally to obtain additional information
  • Support incident response efforts, including possible after-hours, weekend, or shift work
  • Report to the Program Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience
  • Additional four years of military and/or operations environment experience may be substituted with a high school diploma
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and DHS Fitness
  • Must be able to pass a background check; additional checks may be required
  • Ability to articulate intelligence requirements into research questions and data-tracking variables
  • Ability to communicate complex information through verbal, written, and/or visual means
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize large quantities of fragmented or contradictory data
  • Ability to recognize and mitigate cognitive biases
  • Critical-thinking ability
  • Knowledge of intelligence confidence levels
  • Knowledge of threat and/or target systems
  • Skill in identifying alternative analytical interpretations
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline such as Homeland Security or Business preferred
  • Alternatively, an Associate's Degree plus two additional years of experience preferred
  • Ability to work onsite in the main office
  • Ability to work extended periods at a computer
  • May be required to work outside normal business hours, holidays, weekends, or shifts
