Job summary

A2 Federal seeks a contractor to coordinate mission activities across multiple ISR domains in collaboration with AF DCGS Enterprise stakeholders. You will work with AF DCGS Analysis and Exploitation Teams to support operations, conduct analyses, and develop ISR mission plans.

You will provide expert assessments of foreign military capabilities, respond to RFIs, and ensure compliance with DCGS directives and DoD guidance. Strong analytic and communication skills are essential.

Job description

The contractor will coordinate mission activities across multiple ISR domains in collaboration with Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) Enterprise stakeholders. Works with AF DCGS Analysis and Exploitation Teams (AET) to support current operations, conduct long- and short-term analyses, and develop ISR mission plans. Provides expert assessments of foreign military capabilities and defense issues in response to Requests for Information (RFIs). Ensures compliance with AF DCGS tactics, techniques, and procedures, as well as all applicable directives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Expertise: Proven skills in exploiting and reporting data from multi-domain sources, performing data mining, and utilizing Intelligence Community (IC) databases.
• Adaptability: Experienced with tools such as JIRA and Confluence, with subject-matterexpertisein Space, Human Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and DoD/IC applications.
• Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and in team environments.
• Analytic Functions: Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments, both regional and functional. Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence requirements.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of the concepts involved in the specific functions outlined in the designated labor category description.
• Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to work semi-independently with appropriate oversight and direction.
• Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
• Demonstrates understanding of interpreting analysis, including its meaning, importance, and implications. Defends analytic judgments with sound, logical conclusions and adapts judgments when presented with new information or evolving conditions.
• Produces timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials using Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint), electronic/soft copy matrices, and web-enabled formats.
• Communicates complex issues clearly, concisely, and in an organized manner—both verbally and in writing—with strong grammar and presentation skills.
• Develops structured research methodologies, including obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within established security and data protocols.
• Recognizes nuances and resolves contradictions or inconsistencies in information.
• Utilizes complex analytic methodologies such as structured analytic techniques (e.g., Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, Devil’s Advocacy, High-Impact/Low-Impact Analysis, Red Team Analysis, and Alternative Futures Analysis) to strengthen arguments and mitigate surprise.
• Understands intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, including technical sensors, platforms, and human intelligence sources relevant to the labor category.
• Evaluates collected intelligence reporting, engages with collection managers, and develops refined collection requirements.
