Job summary

Seniors Prefer Homecare is seeking dedicated individuals in Huntsville, Alabama to support seniors with daily living activities. Responsibilities include assisting with medication reminders, light housekeeping, and providing companionship.

Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma and will be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Flexible schedule options are available, and applicants must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments.
• Offer medication reminders and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.

Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living
• Transportation
• Medication reminder
• Light housekeeping
• Light personal care
• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
