Gaudin Motor Company seeks an Off‑Brand Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse vehicle fleet beyond Porsche. You will handle multi‑make trade‑ins, collaborate with parts and service advisors, and ensure quality workmanship in a busy, state‑of‑the‑art shop.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
• 2 years of multi‑make/off‑brand repair experience (or equivalent).
• ASE Certifications or prior factory training with other major brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair off-brand and multi‑make trade‑in vehicles to safety/quality standards.
• Coordinate with parts to source needed components for various makes/models.
• Inspect pre-owned/off-brand inventory for service/reconditioning needs.
• Document all multi‑make repairs and communicate with service advisors.

We're seeking a skilled, versatile, and motivated Off-Brand Service Technician to join our team to keep our diverse non-Porsche fleet running perfectly.

Summary

As an Off-Brand Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles from various manufacturers outside of the Porsche lineup. We're looking for a versatile tech who is passionate about general automotive craftsmanship, eager to tackle different engineering styles daily, and proud of the their adaptability. Teamwork and a positive attitude keep our shop functioning at the highest level.

Responsibilites

• Diagnose and repair off-brand and multi-make trade-in vehicles to dealership safety and quality standards
• Work with the parts department to obtain needed components for various makes and models
• Inspect pre-owned and off-brand inventory for additional service and reconditioning needs
• Communicate with service advisors and document all multi-make repair work thoroughly
• Road test a variety of vehicle makes to confirm successful repairs
• Stay current on general automotive training, multi-make repair techniques, and universal service bulletins
• Maintain clean workspaces and handle tools responsibly
• Perform other related duties as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• 2 years of related multi-make or off-brand repair experience (or equivalent)
• ASE Certifications or previous factory training with other major automotive brands are a plus

Skills

• Versatile diagnostic and repair ability across multiple vehicle makes and models
• Able to read diverse technical manuals and safety documents from various manufacturers
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Basic math and problem-solving
