Propio Language Services is seeking All Spoken Language Onsite Contract Interpreters in the Wenatchee, WA area. The role involves accurate consecutive interpretation between English and the target language, plus remote interpretation when applicable.

It requires adherence to Propio and client ethics, privacy, and security standards. Applicants should have 1+ year of interpreting experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in English and in All Spoken Language.
• Ability to provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Resume in English during application process.
• TB screening, vaccination or declarations may be required by client locations.
• Background, security, fingerprinting, and/or drug screening may be required.
• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
• Relevant interpreter training, credentials, or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language at onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client requirements on ethics, confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security and data-protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA as applicable).
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, customers, visitors, healthcare professionals, and other participants.
• Maintain language proficiency, terminology and subject‑matter knowledge for assignments.
