Job summary

Northwest Tire is hiring an Alignment Technician at the Jamestown location. You will perform wheel alignments on customer vehicles and may assist with tires, suspension work or front-end tasks as needed. Training is provided and experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and stretch regularly.
• Must be able to learn the dynamics of the Alignment machine.
• Some computer skills required.
• Must be able to get in and out of customer vehicle.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

STARTING Wage $16-$30 DOE

Northwest Tire is a local regionally owned company who has been in business for over 45 years with experience in the automotive, commercial, and wholesale tires, and repair work. We have 25 locations serving the upper Midwest.

We are now hiring positions in passenger & light truck tires, commercial and truck & farm tires and in wholesale distribution. Tires are not our only specialty. We do general automotive & light truck repairs such as tire rotation, tire purchasing, oil & lube services, general repair on commercial medium trucks such as brakes, alignments, farm service calls, wheels, and rims. We have a wholesale division as well.

We employee over 300 employees

• Retail Commercial centers (Automotive and Light Trucks)
• Commercial Truck and Farm Centers (Implement and Off the road tires – OTR)
• Wholesale distribution warehouses
• Bandag Retread Truck Tire manufacturing centers

Applicants’ main responsibilities would be to perform alignments on customer vehicles. Other duties many be required such as tires and occasional suspension work or front-end work. Experience preferred, but not necessary we will train.
