Job summary

KLA Corporation in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a graduate student intern with a strong background in signal and image processing, machine learning, and mathematical modeling. You will contribute to advancing product intelligence by analyzing complex measurement data and developing scalable software tools for KLA products.

As part of a collaborative team, you will explore traditional and deep learning techniques, prototype new methods, and help reduce compute costs while improving accuracy.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
• Strong foundation in signal processing and ML.
• Experience with imaging data and AI modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with traditional and deep learning algorithm techniques, such as optical, physical, and mathematical modeling, inverse problems, and AI models to meet and improve results on KLA products.
• Experiment with new and novel techniques to improve results or reduce compute cost of various modeling techniques for processing and analyzing measurement spectra and images.
• Build signal/image processing and analysis tools for more efficient experimentation.
• Manage measurement and imaging data used for training and experimentation of AI and physics modeling systems.
• Develop software tools and solutions processing and analyzing measurements and images for KLA products.

Total Rewards

Base Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour based on pursuit of a Masters and Ph.D. Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA
