Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Bethel, Alaska. The role involves performing general abdominal, OB, and small parts ultrasound exams within a remote Alaska setting, with ARDMS certification required and 2+ years post-graduation experience.

The position offers a 40-hour work week with 8-hour shifts and a flexible schedule. Shared housing is provided, airfare is covered, and orientation support is provided to ensure credentialing and smooth

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen or OB/GYN required; multiple specialties preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑graduation experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent preferred; ARDMS registration may be accepted in lieu of graduation.
• Experience performing detailed fetal surveys preferred.
• GE ultrasound and Trophon experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging in general abdominal, OB and small parts ultrasound exams.
• Patient population from newborn to geriatric.
• Varying shift schedule; 40 hours per week.
• Perform receptionist/clerk duties or other department tasks as needed.
