Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a travel assignment in Sitka, Alaska. This role is 40 hours per week on a 10-hour shift schedule for 13 weeks, starting 10/26/2026, with travel compensation and housing options.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS, and at least 18 months of PACU experience in acute care. Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-anesthesia patients recovering from anesthesia in PACU.
• Monitor patients as they wake from anesthesia and coordinate discharge or transfer.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, and continuous reassessment.
