American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an adult outpatient clinic in Craig, Alaska for a 13-week travel assignment.
Requirements include 1+ year outpatient rehab experience, active state PT license, current BLS, valid driver’s license, and a degree from an accredited program (master’s or doctorate) or a bachelor’s plus 2 years of proven work/CE experience.
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, 40 hours per week; travel housing and transportation are not provided.
Qualifications
- Active state PT license required at submission
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Minimum 1 year of adult outpatient rehab experience
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Bachelor's with 2 years of proven work/CE in PT
- Adheres to APTA regulatory and practice standards
Responsabilités
- Provides PT evaluations and treatments to optimize patient outcomes
- Oversees and directs work of PTAs and designated staff
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team on patient care and discharge planning
- Assists in acquisition and fitting of durable medical equipment
- Documents encounters and progress per facility policies
- Maintains cleanliness and stock of clinical space and equipment
