Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Juneau, Alaska. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred. Travel benefits with competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT Certification and other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set technical parameters to optimize anatomy and pathology visualization.
• Provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
