Job description

• General Psychiatrist
• IP Adult-acute and long term patients
• acute average LOS is 7-10 days
• 40 hours/week M-F 8-4p
• average caseload is 10-14/day
• may be required for on-call coverage for up to one weeknight/week and one weekend/month
• Weeknight call: Only from home.
• Weekend Call: Go to the site, stop by all units to check with nursing (usually takes about 3-4 hours). The remainder of the day is call from home.
• 2 hours gratis for in-house, then call back goes into affect.
• Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Psychosis, Trauma
• 2 psychiatrists on staff, social workers, therapists, nurses, primary care docs
• 3 month minimum commitment will be considered, but 6 months preferred
• 30 days or less to credential
