Job summary

LifeMed Alaska is seeking a Flight Nurse to provide direct patient care during transports by air and ground across Alaska and to the Lower 48. You will work with Flight Paramedics in fast-paced environments, following protocols and documenting care.

Required: RN license with 4+ years’ experience (ER/CCU preferred), BLS/ACLS/PALS, Alaska residency, and ability to pass background checks. Relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least an associate’s degree; BSN preferred.
• Minimum four years of current nursing experience, preferably in emergency or critical care; flight experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Flight Nurses assist in planning, providing, evaluating and documenting direct patient care during transport.
• Care is delivered in fixed wing aircraft, ground ambulance, and hospital settings following protocols.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and organized environment and use sound clinical judgment.
