Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies in Alaska seeks a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) to support professional surveying projects through fieldwork, computations, drafting, and coordination under a PLS. The role may require travel to remote and urban sites and eventual licensure progress.

The position blends office and field work with AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey software, and opportunities to take on increasing responsibilities and development toward PLS licensure.

Qualifications

• Education/experience in surveying or geomatics toward licensure.
• Willingness to pass FS exam and progress toward PLS.
• Familiarity with survey principles, techniques, and modern equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Perform field surveying and provide field leadership when assigned.
• Travel to project sites in Alaska and other locations as required.
• Process field data and prepare survey drawings and plats using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
