Job summary

ASRC Energy Services on the North Slope of Alaska seeks a Coil Tubing Mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of light and heavy equipment, including coiled tubing units, trucks, and support gear. Responsibilities include inspections, diagnostics, and repairs under supervision.

The role requires at least five years of heavy equipment maintenance, ability to obtain a Class A CDL within a year, the ability to lift 75 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 1 year of start date.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repetitively.
• Valid driver's license required.
• NSTC safety training certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all coiled tubing equipment and related units.
• Inspect light and heavy equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair equipment following inspection under supervision.
• Adjust, repair and replace engines, transmissions, fuels, hydraulics, pumps, electrical systems, brakes, steering and suspension.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment with hoists and hand/pneumatic tools.
• Perform routine LOF, tune-ups and fluid changes.
• Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues and test-drive after repairs.
