Job summary

Right at Home Alameda is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in the Alameda County area. We offer hourly pay between $20 and $22, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing training.

Travel to clients' homes is required, with opportunities for recognition programs and referrals. We welcome caring individuals who are 21+, authorized to work in the US, and registered as an HCA in California.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Registered with the State of California as a Home Care Aide (HCA).
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license preferred.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.
• Willing to travel to clients' homes.
• Caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for an ill, aging or disabled person.
• Light housework and cleaning.
• Meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Shopping and errands; companionship.
• Assistance with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Primarily work in the client’s residence; travel is required.

• Travel is required.
