Job summary

Signal Security in Akron, OH is hiring Security Officers to protect communities with vigilance and professionalism. You will patrol, secure points, and respond to alarms, while upholding the company’s commitment to safety and service.

This part-time role offers flexible shifts (11pm-5am Fri-Sun), comprehensive training, uniforms, and bi-weekly payroll. Fluent English, a HS diploma or GED, and reliable transportation are required.

What You'll Do:

• Patrol assigned areas to deter theft, vandalism, and other crimes
• Secure entry points and ensure property safety
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
• Assist employees, residents, or guests with security-related concerns
• Document and report all incidents and irregularities accurately

What We're Looking For:

• Strong customer service skills—our officers engage with the community
• Ability to remain alert and responsive during long shifts
• Ability to work independently and follow established protocols
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation to assignments

Position Details:

• Shift: 11pm-5am, Friday-Sunday
• Job Types:Part-time available (18 hours)
• Shifts: 6 hours | Holidays | On-call | Friday-Sunday | Weekdays | Weekends | Evenings | Overnight | PT
• Pay: $17 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

• Age 18+
