Job summary

Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company is seeking a founding security lead to own security posture and credibility. You will shape a standardized approach to AI agent security, working with CISOs at major enterprises and leading security governance across our product AIUC-1.

You will engage with clients, partners, and industry groups to define security expectations, policies, and incident response. This role combines strategic direction with hands-on leadership in a rapidly evolving AI

Qualifications

Extensive security leadership in SaaS/AI with cross-functional ownership.
Experience evaluating AI vendor security in large enterprises.
Fluency across core technical stack and security disciplines.
Excellent ability to communicate complex security topics to executives and engineers.
Passion for AI-specific security risks and industry-wide standard setting.

Responsibilities

Shape and evolve AIUC-1's security requirements as the threat landscape changes (prompt injection, adversarial attacks, jailbreaks, MCP and A2A risks).
Be AIUC's external security voice through client conversations, consortium sessions, and thought leadership.
Build and manage core security infrastructure; develop and enforce policies and incident response across the org.
Serve as the practitioner's lens on how enterprises assess AI vendor security today.
Handle enterprise client security and collaborate with the commercial team.

The Role

AIUC certifies AI agents based on security, safety, and reliability. As our founding security lead, you will own security at a business that is built upon trust. Our stakeholders are CISOs at Fortune 500 enterprises and the world's fastest-growing AI companies. They trust us to tell them whether their systems can be trusted and that requires internal credibility, controls, and posture.

AIUC-1 as a standard is paving the way for agentic security, your expertise will directly influence what this means across the industry. Our security function will be what other companies will turn to as the playbook.

Shape and evolve AIUC-1's security requirements as the agentic threat landscape changes, from prompt injection, adversarial attacks, jailbreaks, MCP and A2A risks
Be AIUC's external security voice on what AI agent security means in practice, through client conversations, consortium sessions, and thought leadership
Build and manage our core security infrastructure and build a world-class security posture, develop and enforce security policies and incident response across the organization

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who has spent years in security and is now ready to use that expertise to shape a standard. You are as comfortable in a room with a CISO as you are in the technical details, and you would rather write the playbook than implement someone else's.

You'll need to have:

Deep experience in security, at a SaaS / AI / PS known for its rigour, with ownership spanning both strategic, technical and operational work
Deep familiarity with how enterprises evaluate AI vendor security
Technical fluency across the core stack
Expertise and strong communication skills within complex security topics
Passion about AI-specific security risks and a strong will to shape and define the new standard in its industry
