AI Architect Director

As an AI Architect Director, you will lead the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions to meet clients' business needs within our Assurance practice. You will leverage your experience in analyzing requirements and developing technical designs to enable the successful delivery of solutions. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. In this role at PwC, you will drive business growth, shape the direction of client engagements, and mentor the next generation of leaders.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing seamless integration solutions and robust platform architectures to optimize technology infrastructure.
• Analyzing business requirements and developing technical designs to enable successful delivery of innovative technology solutions.
• Leading strategic technology planning and promoting technological advances to create environments where people and technology thrive together.
• Overseeing multiple projects and maintaining executive-level client relations to drive business growth and shape client engagements.
• Mentoring the next generation of leaders and cultivating potential within teams to uphold PwC's reputation for quality and integrity.
• Conducting research and feasibility studies to identify gaps in the market and convert opportunities into success for the firm.
• Developing new ideas, solutions, and structures to drive thought leadership and enhance business performance.
• Collaborating across the PwC Network to leverage collective strength and maximize client satisfaction.

Prerequisites

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Engineering & Business, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Management of Technology.
• Designing enterprise AI architectures across model selection, LLM integration, RAG, data pipelines, security, governance, scalability, monitoring, and cloud deployment.
• Establishing AI design patterns, evaluating platforms and tools, and guiding technical teams to deliver reliable, secure, cost‑effective solutions aligned to business outcomes.
• Demonstrating proficiency in Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Solution Architecture.
• Utilizing Microsoft Azure for cloud strategy and implementation.
• Leading business process modeling and business requirements analysis.
• Driving innovation through new technology evaluation and rapid experimentation.
• Excelling in strategic technology planning and IT business strategy.
• Cultivating executive-level client relations and stakeholder management.

Job Details

• Travel Requirements: Up to 20%.
• Salary range: $134,000 - $348,500.
• For residents of Washington state: $134,000 - $410,000.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
