Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Engineer II to support the Airworthiness Engineering team in Savannah, GA. You will define aircraft design changes for cabin interiors, assess regulatory requirements, and complete compliance showing while supporting certification closure across several disciplines.

The role expects a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field with 18 months of related experience. Reqs include working knowledge of certifications and ability to coordinate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 18 months related Engineering experience.
• Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD in field applicable to the job position.

Responsibilities

• Understand and define aircraft design changes to aircraft cabin interiors and aircraft cabin assets.
• Research and apply applicable domestic and foreign regulatory requirements to complete the compliance showing for each design change.
• Support aircraft certification closure activities.
• Manage certification projects across multiple technical disciplines as project needs evolve.
