Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5 years specific certification experience or 10 years broad engineering experience.
• Experience credit for related advanced degrees limited per policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and develops complex certification plans describing scope, deliverables, means of compliance and test requirements.
• Reviews certification deliverables to verify checklist, compliance, and 8100-9 findings.
• Prepares prerequisites, drafts TIAs, and opens projects and memos; hosts FAA Pre-Flight Board.
• Generates and maintains project files for large programs; submits regulatory correspondence.
• Develops TC and STC validation deliverables including applications, classifications, and validation plans.
• Coordinates responses with Subject Matter Experts and FAA; drafts and closes validation files.
