Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials as per airport/state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for delivering exceptional service.
• Reviews operational and financial reports to ensure station goals are met and takes corrective action as needed.
• Participates in employee relations investigations and resolves issues professionally and promptly.
• Recruits staff to ensure proper staffing, and promotes team-building with coaching and mentoring.
• Ensures employees are properly trained and safety records are audited as needed.
• Leads performance management and drives achievement of operational and financial objectives.
• Performs duties safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Immediately report safety/security incidents and hazards per policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned within skill and capability.

Job Summary:

The station manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the exciting day-to-day airport operations, or a segment of the operation.The station manager must have a passion for ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance of the station.

Job Duties:

• Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service.

• Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching and mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.


• Ensure that employees are properly trained and audit safety records as needed.


• Sets, measures and manages the performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving operational and financial objectives and goals.


• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.

• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70lbs and move up to 70lbs; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.

Working conditions:

• You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.


• Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.


• Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!) May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.
