Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a part-time Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL, PDOT) at the Kansas City location to support airport operations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers while ensuring on-time service.

A valid state driver’s license, a current DMV record, and a DOT Medical Card are required. Availability for 3rd shift and/or weekends may be needed; drivers may earn tips in addition to $17.50/hour and enjoy comprehensive

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License Requirement: Required to have and maintain a valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic using money units.
• Appearance: Maintain a neat, clean appearance in uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds; occasional sitting or climbing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state driver's license and maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Assist customers by answering questions or directing them to the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with luggage and traveling items when applicable at airport locations.
