Qualifications

• At least 1 year of specialized experience supervising transportation-security operations.
• At least 6 months of experience as a work leader or supervisor.
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
• Must meet security and background investigation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Oversee passenger, carry-on and checked-baggage screening operations.
• Assign work, establish priorities, and coordinate rotations.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and judgment.
• Provide coaching and feedback on performance.
• Approve leave and address workplace concerns.
• Respond to security incidents and disruptions.
• Prepare briefings, logs, and management communications.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders and TSA leadership when required.
• Recommend improvements to screening procedures and staffing plans.
