Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking professional, reliable, and experienced Airport Security Agents to join our team in Newark, NJ. The role involves protecting assigned areas, controlling access, observing for suspicious activity, and responding to security and emergency situations.

Pay rate is $22.35 per hour with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Benefits include comprehensive training, medical and dental coverage, 401(k), and uniform and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security experience.
• A valid drivers license.
• A valid New York State Security Guard License.
• A high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report suspicious activity or behavior.
• Protect and monitor assigned areas and facilities.
• Enforce applicable security rules, regulations, and post orders.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
• Screen and/or log individuals and vehicles entering restricted areas.
• Conduct vehicle inspections as required.
• Monitor personnel and vehicles in secured and restricted areas.
• Direct traffic when required.
• Provide construction escort services as assigned.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident logs and prepare reports as required.
