Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and government personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures at an airport location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of terminal areas, access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned property to identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report violations.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Prepare clear reports and logs for patrol activity and incidents.
