Job summary

Global Elite Group is seeking an Airport Operations Supervisor – Aviation Security at Dulles International Airport. The role leads security personnel, enforces procedures, and coordinates with law enforcement and airport staff to ensure safe operations.

Ideal candidates will have a State Security License, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and first responders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• Valid State Security License required.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Must pass initial and recurrent training classes/exams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all security personnel in the security operation.
• Ensure a safe working environment for staff and vendors.
• Conduct regular security walk-throughs and inspections.
• Provide training and corrective action as needed.
• Report breaches of airport security and incidents.
• Coordinate alarm and emergency responses with airport stakeholders.
• Maintain access control to secured areas and verify badges.
• Oversee vehicle access in designated areas and monitor traffic.
• Patrol airside and landside areas including lots and offices.
• Prepare written reports of events and discrepancies.
