Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience supervising transportation-security operations.
• At least six months of experience as a work leader or supervisor.
• U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and obtain security clearance.
• Emergency Essential designation may apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Oversee passenger and baggage-screening operations.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate rotations.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and judgments.
• Review performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Respond to security incidents and emergency situations.
• Prepare briefings, logs, and incident reports.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders and TSA leadership.
• Recommend improvements to procedures, staffing plans, and operations.
