Job summary

Covenant Aviation Security is seeking Security Officers to support operations at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE). You will control access, verify credentials, inspect belongings, monitor activity, and enforce procedures with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

A professional presence and vigilance are essential in a fast-paced airside environment. Starting pay is competitive with benefits; applicants must meet DSPS requirements and be able to obtain airport credentials

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Minimum 1 year of security or related experience.
Valid Unarmed Private Security Permit (WI DSPS).
Ability to obtain airport credentials and access privileges.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to follow post orders and complete training.
Ability to pass required training and assessments.

Responsibilities

Appear on post on time and in the required uniform.
Maintain a professional presence, vigilance, and situational awareness.
Control access to designated airport facilities and restricted areas.
Verify identifications, badges, and access authorizations.
Inspect persons, property, deliveries, and vehicles as required.
Monitor activity and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
Prepare daily activity logs and incident reports.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and travelers.
