Battelle in Egg Harbor Township, NJ seeks an Airport Safety Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will maintain facilities and equipment, fabricate mockups, install sensors, and perform firefighting operations during testing.
The position requires an associates degree or equivalent experience, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Work is 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, outdoors in various weather with PPE, and may require limited travel.

We are currently seeking an Airport Safety Technician. This is a full-time on-site position located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Airport Safety Technicians maintain facilities, vehicles and other assets and fabricate project related mockups, equipment, or prototype devices. They perform firefighting operations during testing. Work includes exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Firefighting operations involves wearing personal protective equipment. The candidate will work under the supervision of a senior technician. Work schedules are the Government’s regular working hours, Monday - Friday, and 40 hours per week.
