Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management.
• Know basic store layout to assist customers and answer questions.
• Operate a cash register.
• Follow all company policies, cash handling and loss prevention procedures.
• Communicate pricing, out-of-date items and inventory issues with management.
• Protect company assets and stock merchandise in-store and backrooms.
• Sort and inform management about damaged and outdated products and stock shortages.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized store including cleaning tasks.
• Place stock orders, receive freight, load and unload trucks.
• Provide ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor.
• Assist in inventory and reconciliation of variances.
• Perform related work as assigned.
